BRANDING - ROAM & WILD

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Roam & Wild is a passion project that focuses on nature retreats and sustainable gear. The branding was built around the themes of exploration and escaping the ordinary.

I wanted to create a visual identity that felt both calming and adventurous, which led me to incorporate hand-drawn elements, such as the logo and topographic illustrations.

The secondary font, Moonblossom, compliments the natural, organic feel of the brand while maintaining legibility and a modern aesthetic.

STRATEGY & DESIGN

For Roam & Wild, the strategy was centered around creating a brand that resonates with nature enthusiasts who crave both adventure and peaceful escapes, while aligning with the brand’s purpose of encouraging a deep connection with nature and promoting sustainability.

To reflect this, I included hand-drawn elements and earthy tones into the design, grounding the brand in a feeling of warmth and authenticity. Every design decision, from typography to colour, was made to evoke the calm, yet adventurous spirit of the outdoors.

REFLECTIONS

This project allowed me to craft a brand identity rooted in the outdoors and adventure. The process of blending simple hand-drawn illustrations with intentional design choices gave the brand depth and meaning.

Every decision, from colour palettes to typography, was thoughtfully aligned with the brand’s purpose. It also helped me expand my skills as a lettering artist, merging typography and storytelling in a way that felt authentic and inspiring.
